The pilgrimage officially commences from the gateway cities of Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun. To begin your yatra, you must first reach Delhi or one of these entry points.
Traveling by Flight (Fastest Option) Flying is the most efficient method, saving approximately 2-3 days of grueling road or rail travel. This time saving is crucial, as it allows your body more time for high-altitude trekking preparation.
Traveling by Train (Traditional Option) For those seeking a budget-friendly or more traditional pilgrimage experience, several express trains connect the Mumbai metropolitan region to the north.
We pick you up from Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) or Haridwar Railway Station. After checking into your hotel, attend the soul-stirring Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. This day is vital for rest and final gear checks. Stay: Haridwar.
7-8 Hours): A scenic mountain drive via Mussoorie and the misty Kempty Falls. You will travel along the Yamuna River to reach Barkot (1,220m), your base for the first Dham. Stay: Barkot.
Drive 45 km to Janki Chatti, then start the 6 km trek to the Yamunotri Temple. Highlights include cooking rice in the Surya Kund hot springs and taking darshan of Goddess Yamuna. Return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot. Stay: Barkot.
A 4-hour drive through the lush, green valleys of the Bhagirathi River. You will visit the historic Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This stop is essential for acclimatization before climbing higher. Stay: Uttarkashi.
A beautiful 100 km drive each way through the famous Harsil Valley apple orchards. Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi (Ganga) and visit the Gangotri Temple. Stay: Uttarkashi.
This is the longest driving day, passing through the confluences of rivers at Tehri and Srinagar. You arrive at Guptkashi, the gateway to the Mandakini valley. Stay: Guptkashi or Sonprayag.
Drive to Sonprayag, take a shuttle to Gaurikund, and begin the challenging 16 km trek. Alternatively, we can drop you at the Phata or Sirsi helipad for a helicopter flight. Reach the temple by evening for the majestic Aarti. Stay: Kedarnath Top (Mandatory for the full experience).
Attend the morning Abhishek Puja. Trek 16 km back down to Gaurikund and drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi. Stay: Guptkashi.
Drive via the scenic "Mini Switzerland" of Chopta or Rudraprayag. Pass through Joshimath and climb to the high-altitude Badrinath (3,133m). Stay: Badrinath.
Take a dip in the Tapt Kund hot springs before Badrinath Darshan. Visit Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibet border, and see the Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Drive to Joshimath in the evening. Stay: Joshimath.
Follow the Alaknanda River and witness the Panch Prayag (five confluences). Reach Rishikesh by evening to explore Lakshman Jhula and local markets. Stay: Rishikesh.
Visit the Beatles Ashram or Parmarth Niketan after breakfast. We then transfer you to the Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station for your return journey to Navi Mumbai.
