How to Reach Uttarakhand from Maharashtra

The Yatra officially begins from Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun. You must first reach Delhi or one of these gateway cities.

Traveling by Flight

Flying is the fastest way to save 2-3 days of travel time, which is crucial for high-altitude trekking preparation.

• Primary Hub: Dehradun (Jolly Grant Airport – DED).
• Secondary Hub: Delhi (Indira Gandhi International Airport – DEL).

City-Specific Travel Routes

From Mumbai & Thane

Most Mumbaikars prefer the LTT HW AC Express or direct flights to Dehradun.

Pro Tip: If you take a flight to Delhi, we recommend the Vande Bharat Express (22457) from Delhi to Dehradun for a comfortable transition before the mountain road journey.

From Pune

Since there is no direct flight to Dehradun, Pune travelers usually fly to Delhi and take a private car or train to Haridwar.

Train Option: Take the Jhelum Express (11077) or NZM Duronto to Delhi.

From Nagpur & Vidarbha

Nagpur is well-connected to Delhi via the Telangana Express or Rajdhani. From Delhi, we arrange your pickup for the 6-hour drive to Haridwar.

From Nashik & North Maharashtra

Travelers from Nashik can board the LTT HW AC Exp (12171) at Nashik Road station, which takes you directly to Haridwar in approximately 24 hours.
