Bardrinath Dham

Badrinath is the final destination in the Char Dham Yatra. The Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped here as Badrinarayan. The temple is surrounded by snow-covered peaks. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu meditated in this location for thousands of years. Due to heavy snowfall, the temple opens only in the summer for devotees.

Born and brought up in Nainital, Uttarakhand, I completed my graduation (B.Tech from UIT, Dehradun) and post-graduation (MBA from IMS Unison, Dehradun), which gave me the opportunity to explore both the Garhwal and Kumaon regions on my own.
