Day-to-Day Itinerary

  • Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar

    Depart from Delhi at 6:00 AM by private AC car to Haridwar (5-6 hours, 210 km). Check into a Budget/Deluxe/Premium hotel, attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, and explore Moti Bazaar. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

  • Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot

    After breakfast, drive to Barkot (6-7 hours, 220 km) via Mussoorie. Check into a Budget/Deluxe/Premium hotel, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple en route, and relax. Overnight stay in Barkot.

  • Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and Back

    Drive to Janki Chatti (45 km), then trek or ride a pony to Yamunotri Temple (6 km, 3-4 hours). Offer prayers, visit Surya Kund, and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

  • Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi

  • Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath

    Post-breakfast, drive to Badrinath (8-9 hours, 190 km) via Joshimath. Check into a Budget/Deluxe/Premium hotel, visit Badrinath Temple for evening aarti, and explore Tapt Kund. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

  • Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag

    After breakfast, visit Mana Village, the last Indian village near the border. Drive to Rudraprayag (6-7 hours, 160 km) and check into a Budget/Deluxe/Premium hotel. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

  • Day 11: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh

  • Day 12: Rishikesh to Delhi

    After breakfast, explore Parmarth Niketan Ashram and Beatles Ashram. Drive back to Delhi (6-7 hours, 240 km), arriving by 6:00-7:00 PM, concluding your spiritual journey.

The best time to visit is May to June and September to October when the weather is good. From November to April, the temples are closed because of the snow.
Yamunotri is about 430 km from Delhi and takes 12–13 hours to reach. Gangotri is around 460 km and takes 13–14 hours, Kedarnath is about 450 km and also takes 13–14 hours, while Badrinath is the farthest at 530 km, taking 15–16 hours to reach.
