Dodham Yatra From Haridwar

Introduction

Located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, in fact high in the Garhwali Himalayas are some of Hinduism’s most significant sites, also called Chota Chardham – Kedarnath Yatra, Badrinath Yatra , Gangotri Yatra and Yamunotri Yatra.

The temples here marking the spiritual sources of the religion’s four sacred rivers – Ganga, Yamuna, Alaknanda and Mandakini, together making up one of the most prominent pilgrimage circuits in the country. The time between April and November each year witnesses the coming of devotees in thousands who brave the harsh weather, the treacherous mountain roads and trails to get to them.

DAY WISE ITINERARY FOR DO DHAM YATRA FROM HRIDWAR

DAY 01 : NEW DELHI – HARIDWAR (253 KILOMETERS /6 TO 7 HOURS)

  • In the Morning pIckup and drive to haridwar and aarti in the evening and over night stay at haridwar,

DAY 02 : HARIDWAR TO PHATA (203 KILOMETERS / 6 To 7 HOURS)

  • Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. 
  • The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Phata. 
  • Check into the hotel arrival in Phata. Overnight stay at Phata.

DAY 03 : PHATA– KEDARNATH (30KMS BY ROAD & 24 KMS TREK ONE WAY)

  • By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you your prebook Helipad. When you return back our car will drop you at Hotel for rest. 
  • By Trek: Though it is difficult to go up and down from Sonprayag on the same day by trek. But it can be done if you take ponies or helicopter while going to Kedarnath. 
  • Do coordinate well with driver, as due to parking issue driver cannot stay at Sonprayag also network issue is also there. 

After reaching at kedarnath, check into hotel at kedarnath. Dinner and overnight stay at kedarnath.

DAY 04 : KEDARNATH – PHATA ( 24KM / 9 Hours)

After morning breakfast and kedarnath dham darshan, comes back to Guptkashi,  and overnight stay at Phata.

DAY 05 : PHATA – BADRINATH ( 167 KM/ 5 to 6 Hours) 

  • After Breakfast and  then drive to Badrinath , Sightseeing narsingh temple overnight stay at Badrinath

DAY 06 : BADRINATH  – RISIHIKESH (280 KILOMETERS / 8 HOURS)

  • Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Mana Village , Bhim Pull  etc
  • Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), After badrinath dham darshan retun back to Rishikesh, Dinner and Overnight stay at RIshikesh.

DAY 07 : RISHIIKESH TO NEW DELHI (236 KILOMETERS / 5 to 6 HOURS)
