Detailed Itinerary

Day 01:- Delhi–Haridwar (227km / Approx. 6 hours drive)

Pick up from Delhi and drive to Haridwar Check into the hotel arrival in Haridwar. Overnight stay at the Haridwar.

Haridwar: It is an earliest city and the precious Hindu travel spot.  It is situated in the state of Uttarakhand and lies near the ganga river. The meaning of “Haridwar” is “Gateway to God” So, it also says that when someone brings the ashes/ asthi of their loved ones to Haridwar in small pot i.e. kalash, the ashes immersed in ganga because it is believed that it helps to purify the soul and find freedom and peace.

Many people come here to take a holy dip in Ganga in Harki Pauri because  it is believed that taking bath in the ganga cleanse one’s sins and impurities

Day 02:- Haridwar – Barkot (189 km / Approx. 8 hours’ drive)

After breakfast, drive to Barkot by visiting Mussoorie in route. Mussoorie is known as “Queen of hill stations”. It is Located among gorgeous Himalayan mountains. It feels very peaceful and relax. Enjoy the beautiful natural beauty of the mountains and feel fresh air which will leads to peace the mind and make your journey  memorable.Check into the hotel arrival in Barkot and overnight stay at the Barkot.

Barkot Weather – Generally pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25- 30 degree Celsius, winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold, temp ranges from 10 deg to 05 deg

Day 03:- Barkot-Yamunotri–Barkot (36 km/Approx. 1 hour drive& 4kms Trek (one side)

The drive from Barkot to Yamunotri is a scenic and spiritual journey filled with stunning views, quaint villages, and a sense of serenity. It is about 36 km by road to Janki Chatti, followed by a trek of 6 km to reach Yamunotri.Star trek from here to Yamunotri (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water and having “Darshan” of “Yamunaji” return to Jankichatti by trek. Later drive towards Uttarkashi after Check out from Hotel, Overnight stay at Barkot

Yamunotri Temple:The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters (10,804 feet) in the Garhwal Himalayas. Surrounded by majestic mountains and lush greenery, it lies near the Yamunotri Glacier, the source of the Yamuna River.

At Yamunotri: One can cook rice by packing with cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt Kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Here near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila.

Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs near temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila ;A sacred rock near the temple where devotees worship before entering the shrine.

Yamunotri Weather- In summer the maximum temp is 18 degrees and the minimum is10 degrees Celsius. The days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold

Day 04:- Barkot-Uttarkashi (100 km / Approx. 4 hours drive)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel.Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. It is dedicate to lord shiva and is believed that it was built during the 8th century by the Parmar dynasty. The temple is famous for its architecture and is considered one of the most sacred temples in the region.

Overnight stay at Uttarkashi-Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams, temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi,town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of River Ganga

Day 05:- Uttarkashi–Gangotri–Uttarkashi (100km/approx.3-4hour drive each)

Early morning drive towards the Gangotri, The distance between Uttarkashi and Gangotri is about 100 km, and the drive takes approximately 4–5 hours one way, depending on road conditions.  While travelling between in route there is Gangani , take a holy dip in garamkund, then go further. 

Gangotri Temple:

A sacred shrine where the river Ganga is worshipped as a Goddess. According to legends, this is where Ganga descended to earth. The temple was constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi.After arriving in Gangotri , take a holy dip in sacred river ganga , it is also known as Bagirathi at its origin. After taking the holy dip in ganga then perforn the pooja and darshan in the Gangotri temple then take relax and take a fresh air with a view of beautiful mountains surrounded by you.After that travel back to your hotel in Uttarkashi , overnight stay is in Uttarkashi

Gangotri Weather – The maximum temperature during summer can go up to 20° Celsius. Summer nights can get cooler with a minimum temperature of 10° Celsius. Light woolen clothes are required while visiting Gangotri during summer. Winter season is very chilly in Gangotri. Gangotri will be covered in sheets of snow during winter. Pilgrim centers remain closed throughout winter due to heavy snow falls.

Day 06:- Uttarkashi-Guptkashi (220 kms / approx. 8-9 hours’ drive)

The journey from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi is a long but incredibly scenic drive of around 190 km, taking approximately 8–10 hours. As you leave Uttarkashi, the town’s serene vibe stays with you. Known for the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Bhagirathi River’s peaceful flow, this holy town sets the tone for a spiritual adventure.Guptkashi, nestled at an altitude of 1,319 meters (4,327 feet), welcomes travellers with its cool mountain breeze and spiritual ambiance. This town is known for the Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the Manikarnika Kund, where you can see the reflection of Kedarnath Peak on a clear day.

Guptkashi Weather – pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degreeCelsius. Cold in winters.

Day 07:-Guptkashi–Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 kms by road & 22 kms Trek)

Morning after breakfast travel to Kedarnath temple. Enjoy Kedarnath Pooja Darshan & back to your hotel.Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Trek: Morning our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gouri Kund &  your trek will  start for kedarnath temple . Pilgrims also can visit the Gauri Temple and take a dip in the natural hot springs here before starting their trek. After Darshan you follow same & back to Sonprayag. There is big parking issue so driver will back other palace if his contact no. in not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver & send the massage any other driver.

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.

Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high altitude the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most part of the year. Summer here is cool and pleasant while winter is severe. During summer season the temperature varies around 20°Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter season in Kedarnath is severe with mercury falling to as low as 0°Celsius. During this time the place experiences snowfall as well. Due to the extreme climatic conditions, this time is usually avoided by tourists.

Day 08:-Kedarnath–Sonprayag – Guptkashi (30 kms by road & 19kms Trek)

Morning after breakfast go to Kedarnath temple . Enjoy Kedarnath Pooja Darshan & back to your hotel. After Darshan you follow trek as same while trekking to kedarnath, back to Sonprayag. There is big parking issue so driver will back other palace if his contact no. in not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver & send the massage any other driver.Overnight stay in Sonprayag.

Day 09:- Guptkashi–Joshimath (200 kms / Approx. 7 hours’ drive)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Joshimath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening dinner overnight stay at the hotel Joshimath.

Day 10:-Joshimath-Badrinath –Joshimath ( 40 kms / Approx. 2 hours’ drive)

After breakfast, and visiting Brahama kapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Joshimath. Badrinath one of the ‘Ancient Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”.

Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bath before entering the Badrinath temple

Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. Vasundhara: As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall. This place is 5 kms. From Badrinath out of which 2 kms. Is motorable upto Mana.

Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa(cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Badrinath Weather: -The average maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snow falls.

Day 11:-Joshimath–Haridwar ( 270 kms / Approx. 9 hours’ drive)

The journey from Joshimath to Haridwar is a beautiful, covering a distance of around 250–270 km, which takes about 9–10 hours by road, depending on the road conditions and stops along the way En-route visits the Confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River which is called Devprayag.

Day 12:-Haridwar–Delhi ( 227 kms / Approx. 6 hours’ drive)

After Breakfast drive back to Delhi With happy memories.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITION

  • Rates mentioned above are valid for Indian nationals only until and unless specified along with quotation.
  • The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines or in the hotels. Once the quotation is accepted by the guest and advance amount is deposited either in Cheque / cash to process the reservation, the booking is processed at our end. In case we are unable to get the confirmations then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guest. Once given confirmation then full and final payment should be made either in cash or draft at the time when all the travel documents are delivered to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
  • Base category rooms will be booked in Hotels until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you had to paid the differences.
  • Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
  • Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case
  • In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.
  • Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.
  • The check in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 02 PM to 12 PM and number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
  • For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
  • In case of International travel, rates may vary based on change of ROE or any other fluctuation in international market or subject to availability.
  • On accepting this quotation, you accept that you have read the complete package information and agree with booking terms & conditions, payment policy and cancellation policy. You accept the tour package and acknowledge that it fits into your budget and requirement.
